Closer to the end!

Friday I realized I have a week left of my summer vacation. Then it's back to work and school! I also realized I haven't done have the things that I have wanted to do on my break! Like organize my computer room and all my preschool stuff, make a eye appointment (because I'm blind. I can't handle it any longer!), scrapbooking, and go on a overnight hike up Lamoille Canyon.

Well, with a week left and counting I decided I better get busy! So on Friday I pulled all my scrapbooking stuff out and I've been scrapbooking for three days straight! (Did you notice of the list of things to do, I choose the one that wouldn't take a lot of effort!!) I'm scrapbooking my school years. I'm almost done with it. I think going through all the stuff I keep over the years was more time consuming then anything! The hardest part was trying to remember why I keep the things that I did! I'm sure at the time I thought they were sentimental. PLEASE!! I had a laugh at going down the road of high school! All I have to say is what was I thinking!!? I was almost embarrassed to scrapbook some of my formal pictures! What was I thinking? Those dresses were hideous! Peach should be outlawed at proms! I felt sorry for my date! It's just not right! What a bargain for my Mom though she found that dress on clearance! I wonder why??

As I was looking at all my pictures I realized how long it has been! WOW!! It sure isn't the reflection that I see in the mirror today! I guess that's not always a bad thing either! I can't belief how young both Dan and I look in some of those pictures. I found some pictures of a Def Lepard concert that we went to with our friends, I sure do miss them! Even though it was in 1993, it sure made me feel old and made me think of the song 1985!! It doesn't help that Marissa sings that song to me all the time! Someday, when she's a little older, say Thirty. She'll understand!!

I hope to someday share my scrapbook with all who cover the pages inside!!
