The Cheetah Girl Concert and the Ones We Love!

Last Monday we took Marissa, Mckalya, Kierra and Hailey to the Cheetah Girls Concert in Salt Lake City, it was what we gave them for their Christmas present. We wanted to give them a memory not another material thing that would be lost or broken or fade with time! The concert was a lot of fun!! I think it was more fun for me to watch them having fun than the actual concert!! They were soo cute!! Every song that they played, they would start screaming and they all would say "I know this song it's ..............."! Then they would jump up and down and start dancing. During the concert I realized just how old I'm getting and how old each of them are getting. It made me feel good that I was able to experience that with them, that's what it's all about though, right? Being with the ones we love!

During our busy lives we need to remember to take a time out and be with the ones we love and to tell them how much we care for them! Because in the end, family is all that really matters, it's not what kind of car we had or how big our house was or how much we had in our bank account! Sometimes I think people forget that fact! We are only on this earth for a short time, just waiting to go home! Even though material things seem nice here and now, I guarantee you that material things won't matter in the end, you can't take them with you when you die! In the end it will be about the quality of life you lived not the quantity that you had!! Don't get me wrong, a nice car, house and a fat bank account are always nice!! Some people are blessed with that life and some are not! I'm just saying don't base your whole life on material things! A really special person taught me this! ............It's the greatest knowledge that I've learned, on my barowed time that I call LIFE!!! Be happy and humble with the things you are blessed with and be happy for other's that are blessed with more! Be content with you!
